Specifications

• Dimensions from end of nose cone where it bolts to starter is 3.775" to first edge of starter drive gear opening
• 2.575" to center of mounting bolt locating hole
• 6.420" overall housing length
• 1/4" - 20 inside diameter threaded holes
• Includes bushing

Installation Tips
Before installing this replacement housing, make sure the below conditions are first checked and satisfied (warranty void if broken.)

• The (main) reasons a starter nose will break:
  • Bent armature shaft
  • Ignition timing is incorrect
  • Improper drive to ring gear clearance
  • Defective distributor cap / wires causing the engine to kick back
