Return Policy

Eligibility for Returns

Returns are accepted within 30 days of receipt for items that are:

  • Unused and never installed.
  • In clean, unmarked, and original packaging.
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Special Orders
  • Electrical Components
  • Customized Parts
  • Items Marked “Final Sale”
    (These are only eligible for return if defective.)

Return Process

  • Contact Us: Call customer support at 810-354-7051 to request a Return Authorization (RA) number.
  • Prepare Your Shipment:
    • Returns must be pre-paid at the customer’s expense.
    • Include the RA number and all necessary paperwork.
    • Improperly packed or freight-collect shipments will be refused.
  • Inspection and Fees:
    • A 15% restocking fee applies unless otherwise stated in advance.
    • Items damaged due to improper packing will not be credited.

Refunds

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7-10 business days of receiving the return.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
  • International and/or airfreight shipping charges are non-refundable for any reason.

Defective Items or Shipping Errors

  • Notify us within 7 days of receiving a defective or incorrect item.
  • We’ll provide a replacement or refund and cover the return shipping costs.

Core Refunds

If your order includes a refundable core charge:

  • Core Return Labels: A return label may be included in your shipment. If not, contact your sales representative to arrange the return.
  • Authorization: All core returns require an RA number. Unauthorized or freight-collect returns will be refused.
  • Processing: Allow up to 30 days for core refunds after inspection. Credit is issued once the manufacturer approves the return.

Product Warranty Information

The warranty policy from J&J Ag Parts covers parts necessary to repair a warrantable failure to the functional condition of the application that existed immediately prior to the failure, as detailed below. This warranty statement applies to direct customers of J&J Ag Parts only and is non-transferable.

Warranty Coverage

  1. New Internal Engine Parts:

    • For agricultural and industrial applications, parts are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal service and operating conditions for a period of one year from the date of invoice, with no limitation on miles or hours of operation.
    • Excludes engine assemblies, including but not limited to short block assemblies, long block assemblies, and complete engines. Contact our tech support staff for information on warranty coverage of excluded items.

  2. Engine Overhaul Kits:

    • For heavy-duty on-highway applications, kits are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal service and operating conditions for a period of one year from the date of invoice, with no limitation on miles or hours of operation.

  3. Remanufactured Engine and Drivetrain Parts:

    • These parts are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal service and operating conditions for a period of six months from the date of invoice, without limitation on miles or hours of operation, on a parts-replacement-only basis.

  4. Drivetrain Parts:

    • Drivetrain parts are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal service and operating conditions for a period of one year from the date of invoice, without limitation on miles or hours of operation, on a parts-replacement-only basis.

  5. Engines Not Manufactured by J&J Ag Parts:

    • New and remanufactured engines, including complete engines, long blocks, medium blocks, and short blocks produced by other manufacturers, are not warranted by J&J Ag Parts. These are covered solely by the manufacturer’s warranty. Contact our tech support staff for more information.

Warranty Limitations and Conditions

  1. Use of J&J Ag Parts Components:

    • Parts supplied by J&J Ag Parts will be covered at current customer pricing.
    • Where available, only new or remanufactured J&J Ag Parts or J&J Ag Parts-approved parts will be used in making a warranted repair.
    • OEM or other aftermarket sourced parts will only be covered with prior J&J Ag Parts Management written approval.

  2. Exclusions:

    • Warranty does not cover failures resulting from abuse, neglect, or improper maintenance, including but not limited to:
    • Operation without adequate coolant, fuel, or lubricants.
    • Over-fueling, over-speeding, or improper storage, starting, warm-up, run-in, or shut-down practices.
    • Damage to adjacent components or systems.
    • Troubleshooting or diagnostic time, towing, transport, downtime, rental fees, shop labor, repair labor, or incidentals such as delivery charges, travel, meals, lodging, business losses, or docking/harbor charges.

  3. Customer Responsibility:

    • The installer is responsible for ensuring parts are correct for the application and installed according to OEM procedures and industry standards.
    • The owner is responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of equipment as specified in the OEM operation and maintenance manuals.

Warranty Claim Process

  1. Notification:

    • J&J Ag Parts must be notified prior to the end of the warranty period.
    • All warranty repairs must be authorized by J&J Ag Parts technical staff for claims to be valid.

  2. Required Documentation:

    • A Warranty Claim Form must be requested for parts to be returned for warranty consideration.
    • All claimed parts must be returned within 30 days from the date an RA (Return Merchandise Authorization) is issued.
    • Include copies of related work orders or invoices.

  3. Shipping:

    • Parts must be shipped freight pre-paid with all associated paperwork.
    • Improperly packaged parts or parts returned without a Warranty Claim Form will be returned freight collect.
  4. Evaluation:

    • Parts will be examined by J&J Ag Parts technical personnel to determine eligibility.
    • Credit or replacement will be issued only if parts meet warranty criteria.

The warranties set forth herein are the sole warranties made by J&J Ag Parts for its parts. J&J Ag Parts makes no other warranties, express or implied, of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
